By this point, I assume that everyone here knows how I feel about Tinder. It’s a garbage heap and not worth your time, even compared to other online dating apps. You’ll get better quality results on something like OKCupid or Match. But if you want the real results with Korean women in an app that’s actually worth your time and effort?

Gotta use Meeff.

I know, the name is stupid. It’s so dumb that when my friend first told me about it, I almost didn’t use it because of the name alone. Don’t make that mistake though, this app is the best place to meet good Korean women.

Well, that’s not entirely true… Approaching in real life still gives better results and quality over the long term. But you can’t do that while you’re taking a dump, now can you?

Meeff in, in function, the same as Tinder. You see someone’s profile and swipe left or right. If you match, then it opens a chat room that you can use to talk to them.

Two Steps to Improve Your Game Today

Improve your game!Everyone is different when it comes to game and dealing with women.  We all have different styles, different desires, different patterns and places where we perform best.

I hate clubs so as a result my club game is terrible.  The few times I get dragged to one for a friend’s birthday or some other occasion, I always strike out horribly.  It’s just not my style nor do I have any desire to improve my club game.

Your style is different from my style, I can guarantee that.  The guys I’ve met from the site have been amazed by the specific style that I have, and it’s entirely inimitable.  That doesn’t mean that it’s better or worse than any other style, only that it’s my own.

I am also at a different place in my personal and game development than you.  We all grow and change differently and consequently want different things at different times.

How Long Should I Stay in Korea?

SinatraMyWayWhen I first moved to Korea back in late October of 2009, I was 23 years old.  I was coming for a year to experience something new and different before I moved home to begin my ‘real life.’

One month into my time here, I hated it.  Let’s be honest, winter in Korea blows.  It’s the absolute worst, and it really didn’t help that I was living in a small city in the middle of nowhere.  I couldn’t wait to get back home.

Then about halfway through my first year, I hit a super high point – summer.  Summer time in Korea is, without a doubt, the best times you’ll have here.  Now all of a sudden I was glad I lived in the center of Korea because I could go to Seoul or Busan without much trouble either way.  A weekend trip to the beach?  Perfect!  A Saturday rooftop party in Hongdae?  Why not?

By the end of my first year, I knew that I didn’t want to go back home… but I still had a nagging feeling that I was somehow putting off my ‘real life,’ simply delaying the inevitable and that every year I spent here would ultimately be a year wasted.

Here at the Seoul Player and in many other similar man-friendly spaces online, we spend a lot of time talking about understanding women.  We try to understand what they want, what attracts them, how to make ourselves more attractive to them and the like.  One subject that we rarely touch on though is knowing ourselves within.  This is one of the most important steps that one should take before even setting foot out the door to try to meet women.

We’ve all had the experience of being out and seeing an average looking guy with a great looking girl.  This is even more common in Korea, where it’s generally easier to shoot above your number than in the western world.  She’s falling all over him, they’re laughing and having a good time, and it seems like he’s able to effortlessly keep the conversation going forever.  Guys look on in awe and then try to copy openers, lines and routines from things they read online, confused when it doesn’t work like what they see.
