First Seoul Player Meetup – February 6, 2016

January 21, 2016 by Jack North 1 Comment

berserkersHey players, I hope everyone’s new year is off to a great start.  This is an exciting year, and a very important time for men all over the world.  As such, Roosh V (founder of Return of Kings) has decided to organize an international meetup day for masculine men all around the world.  You can read more about the event here.

We have decided to participate in this event, which involves creating a men’s space (no women allowed) where we can congregate and talk about whatever we like.

Ideally, I would like to meet all of you readers in person so we can get to know each other.  Anyone who can come is more than welcome, and seeing as it’s a long holiday weekend of Lunar New Year, your schedule should be plenty accommodating if you’re not leaving the country.

This will not be the last meetup that we have, but in order to deter our haters (of which there are many) all future correspondence about these meetings will be done one on one via messages, so it’s important for you to come the first time so we have contact information to coordinate in the future.

When and Where?

We have set the location in central Seoul, at the Bosinggak Belfry next to Jonggak station exit 4.  For those of you not familiar with the location, I’m including pictures of the actual location as well as a close up subway map of the area.

The station is on line 1 (dark blue), just north of City Hall where line 1 and 2 intersect.  When you walk out of exit 4, you’ll immediately make a U turn and you’ll see the belfry along with a big open space in front of it.

In order to keep out unwanted elements from our meetup, we will meet here and then I’ll direct you to our final meeting location.  The meeting time will be 8:00, and I’ll wait until 8:20 to give directions to men who show up.  If you’re later than 8:20, you will have missed the meetup.

How?

When you see me standing around there, you can either introduce yourself directly or if you prefer a bit more privacy and anonymity, you can use the international challenge and response.

“To identify your fellow tribesmen, ask the following question to a man you suspect is there for the meetup: “Do you know where I can find a pet shop?” If you are asked this question, answer in the affirmative: “Yes, it’s right here.” You can then introduce yourself and get details about where to proceed at 8:20. If you ask someone for the pet shop and they appear confused or actually try to direct you to a real pet shop, they’re not there for the meetup.” (Source)

I have a couple of local venues in mind for us, depending on the number of men who show up.  If you plan to come, please contact me with the form below and let me know so I can plan a venue of appropriate size.  Otherwise just show up between 8:00 – 8:20pm on February 6.  Feel free to invite friends who you think will benefit from our message.  I look forward to seeing you guys there!
